“Pani Da Rang” from Vicky Donor

A Beautiful Song Penned, Sung & Composed by Ayushmann Khurana- the Lead actor of Vicky Donor, himself!

Pani da rang vekh ke...
Pani da rang vekh ke...
Pani da rang vekh ke...
Akhiyaan jo anju rul de.
Akhiyaan jo anju rul de.
Akhiyaan jo anju rul de.[female]

Maahiya na aaya mera, maahiya na aaya.
Maahiya na aaya mera, maahiya na aaya.
Ranjhana na aaya mera, maahiya na aaya.
Maahiya na aaya mera, ranjhana na aaya.
Akhaan da noor vekh ke…
Akhaan da noor vekh ke…
Akhiyaan jo anju rul de.
Akhiyaan jo anju rul de.[female]
Akhiyaan jo anju rul de.
Akhiyaan jo anju rul de.

Seeing the color of water,
tears roll down my eyes.
My lover didn’t come, my beloved didn’t come..
seeing the shine in the eyes,
tears roll down my eyes..

Kamli ho gayi tere bina, aaja ranjhan mere.
Kamli ho gayi tere bina, aaja ranjhan mere.
Baarish barkha sab kuch beh gayi, aaya ni jind mere.
Baarish barkha sab kuch beh gayi, aaya ni jind mere.
Akhaan da noor vekh ke...
Akhaan da noor vekh ke...
Akhiyaan jo anju rul de.
Akhiyaan jo anju rul de.
Akhiyaan jo anju rul de.

I went crazy without you, come o my love.
Rain has already pourned in,
but you didn’t come near me.
seeing the shine in the eyes,
tears roll down my eyes..

Kotthe utthe beh ke, akhiyaan milaunde
Na jaana main tu kabhi chhod.
Tere utte marda, pyaar tenu karda
Milega tujhe na koi aur.
Tu bhi aa sabko chhod ke
Tu bhi aa sabko chhod ke
Meri akhiyaan jo anju rul de
Akhiyaan jo anju rul de.

Seating on the roof, our eyes used to meet.
Don’t ever leave me and go.
I fell for you, I love you,
You won’t find anyone else (like me)
You too come to me, leaving everyone..
You too come to me, leaving everyone..
tears roll down my eyes..
tears roll down the eyes..

Pani da rang vekh ke...
Pani da rang vekh ke...
Pani da rang vekh ke...
Akhiyaan jo anju rul de.
Akhiyaan jo anju rul de.
Akhiyaan jo anju rul de.
Akhiyaan jo anju rul de.[female]
Akhiyaan jo anju rul de.
Akhiyaan jo anju rul de.[female]
Akhiyaan jo anju rul de.
Akhiyaan jo anju rul de.[female]
Akhiyaan jo anju rul de.
Akhiyaan jo anju rul de.[female]
Akhiyaan jo anju rul de.

Alleviate..!

The Life & Times today are Tough

Money is often the Only Bait

Enriched Feelings may seem Hollow

Wealth earning now assumes Hate

You Either Beg or You may Borrow

Keep Credit cards Handy to have a wonderful mate

Love isn’t unconditional be it today or tomorrow

Money is the only thing with the Power to Create

You may Gulp or go on to Swallow

Getting Lucky is best kept with Fate

Wealth Gods shine upon you & people Follow

Without it even the Charm is a Failed Trait

In the End I’d like to quote Dorothy Parker

“If you want to know what God thinks of money,

just look at the people he gave it to..”

Money is quintessential but not a Reason for Sorrow

So Forgive & Forget all who rush for it & Alleviate

“Dont Go Back to Sleep” By Rumi

“The Breezes at dawn have secrets to tell you
Don’t go back to sleep!
You must ask for what you really want.
Don’t go back to sleep!
People are going back and forth
across the Doorsill where the two Worlds touch,
The door is round and open
Don’t go back to sleep!” ~ Rumi

“The Road Not Taken…” by Robert Frost

“Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I…
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.”~ Robert Frost

The Perils of Not Thinking Big..!

There was a Fisherman who, everytime he caught a big fish, would throw it back in the river, keeping only the small ones. A man watching this unusual behavior asked the guy why he was doing this. He replied, “Because I have a small frying pan.”

Most people never progress in life because they are carrying a small frying pan.
That is limited thinking!!

Think big, Dream big, Do big!!

*I Personally think its a very Valid point esp. if we see it in the Current situation in Urbane Cities, everyone’s busy updating their own thoughts via various routes likes Facebook, Twitter, Blogging, Text Messages & Cell-Phones.. but amidst all the above, the need for Level of Communication in Personal Relationships is growingly decreasing.. This surely needs to be addressed*

A Simple Test..!

I recently recieved an email from a dear friend & i felt great after reading it.. So thought wud share it with u all!!

This is a Self Test:

1. Name the 5 Wealthiest People of the World?

2. Name the Last 5 Winners of Miss Universe?

3. Name the Last 5 People who have won the Nobel Prize?

How did you do in it?  The Point is that none of us remember the headlines of yesterday. Even though these People are the Best in their respective Field… Applause weathers down, Awards are Tarnished & Achievments are forgotten!

Here’s another quiz.. Let’s see how your answers go..!

1. Name 5 Teachers who aided your Journey through School & made it worthy?

2. Name 5 Friends who helped you through times of Distress & trouble?

3. Name 5 People who taught you something worthwhile?

4. Name 5 People who make you feel Special?

5. Name 5 People with whom you enjoy spending your time with?

Easier.. Right? 🙂

What do we conclude by this..? The People who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the Most Awards, Money or Fame!! Life is full of Ordinary People, whose presence in your life makes the World around you a much Better Place for you..! Cherish them, Take Care of them & hold on tight to these Special People coz. perhaps its Special to be Ordinary..! 🙂
